Binova Group Announces End to Dumpster Odors With Release of ZEROdor™

KNOXVILLE, TN - Binova Group, a waste disrupter based in Knoxville, TN, this week announced the release of the ZEROdor™ Odor Dispersion unit, the first-ever gravity-powered odor control unit for the dumpster industry. The ZEROdor unit mounts or welds into the side of any standard front or rear load container, and holds ZEROdor Granules, odor control pellets which are automatically disbursed during dumping.

“We’ve had requests for years to help solve the serious odor problems so common in solid waste”, said Tyler Smith, Binova’s Director of Product Innovation. “The ZEROdor unit does just that and requires no power source to disburse an even spread of ZEROdor granules into almost any steel dumpster. Just load and go”, said Smith, who said some call out ZEROdor as one of the top industry innovations since 2000.

Sean Bowyer, Binova’s CEO, said the product has been of great interest to some of the largest players in solid waste. “It’s very simple”, says Bowyer. “ZerOdor dispensers work by harnessing the dumping action already taking place when the waste container is emptied. Once the container is inverted, the lower chamber of the Dispersion Unit is filled, and as the dumpster is turned upright again, a measured amount of ZEROdor Granules are spread across the bottom of the container.” A typical unit only needs filled 3-4 times per year.

Every ZEROdor Dispersion Unit is built in America using heavy-duty 16-gauge steel, and powder-coated for many years of use in the elements. The weather-tight lid keeps moisture out, and the chamber holds up to 20 lbs. of ZEROdor Granules. Each ZEROdor unit has a full 2-year warranty.

Binova’s ZerOdor Granules are small pellets made from a dry-clay base and eliminate malodors and absorb bacteria-friendly moisture. They are available in 25 pound pails.
